Nissa–I think it’s a horn worm caterpillar. There are different local varieties, tomato horn worm is common around here. If they get to your vegetable plants, they will eat through them at an alarming rate. My kids like to catch them and watch them eat leaves because they can make a bunch disappear in just a few minutes. So, enjoy them, but keep them out of the garden!
