Wow! Three days in one! I’ve been on the go, go, go. We spent Friday on a field trip to a beautiful botanical garden and museum on Cape Cod. We walked for four hours… and drove another four. It was worth it to escape the heat here at home without air conditioning. It was almost 20 degrees cooler. My poor legs were giving me what-for… and still are.
Yesterday, we spent six hours with a friend helping him to move into his new house. He was left with quite a lot of cleaning to do in his lovely, big home. So we all scrubbed and took out rubbish, and scrubbed some more. I think we can see light at the end of the tunnel. We’ll be going back this week to help some more and see if we can’t get him comfortably settled.
So all-in-all I had a very active weekend, I’d say. Lots and lots of exercise. I’m really pleased with my stamina, and surprised too. And I discovered that chores with friends is WAY more enjoyable. Who knew?
So, who wants to come over and help me clean my house?
